We, the Lao American Buddhist community in the United States, in collaboration with the voluntary efforts of Lao American citizens, established Phoutha Smakhy Foundation Inc, doing business as Soukharam Temple.
Our mission is to promote education, traditions, reunion, health, well-being, and prosperity among the American Laotian heritage and communities.
We encourage the study and practice of Buddhism.
